Inspired by such modern blues/rock artists as “Government Mule” and Joe Bonamassa, two friends (Mike Connelly and Todd Bernsdorf) decided to start a Power Trio in the tradition of Cream, Jimi Hendrix and Rory Gallagher. Soon after their first jam sessions, Ian McDowell would round out the trio. With Connelly’s dynamic approach on guitar, McDowell’s progressive and unorthodox bass arrangements, and Bernsdorf’s ability to mix steady grooves with modern drum lines, Gemini 6 fuses the essences of rock and blues, with an occasional dash of funk.

Science Project is an ongoing musical experiment using the method of ever changing variables... in this case, the musicians. Blues is the root of Science Project's rock oriented covers with influence from the Grateful Dead, Robert Hunter, Phish, Rolling Stones, Lightin' Hopkins, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, the Black Crowes, Noah Lewis and the Cofer Brothers.
